Each mailing features a complete original story inspired by kindness, resilience, hope, and genuine human connection, along with a thoughtfully selected keepsake or small treasure.
-
Two Little Light Letters are mailed each month, on the first and third Mondays. Each mailing includes a beautifully written standalone story and a thoughtfully selected keepsake or small treasure. From time to time, you may also receive a seasonal touch, story-inspired activity, or another quiet surprise.
-
The stories are written for readers ages 12 and older. They are thoughtful and encouraging, and are currently available in English as a physical mailed experience. We do not currently offer a digital or separate large-print edition, although the letters are designed with readability in mind.
-
Choose a monthly subscription for $13 per month or an annual subscription for $124.80 per year. The annual option provides a 20% savings. Monthly subscriptions renew each month and annual subscriptions renew every twelve months unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

Letters are mailed on the first and third Mondays of each month. If you subscribe four or more days before the next mail date, your first letter will be mailed on that upcoming date. If you subscribe within four days of the next mail date, it will be mailed on the following mail date.
-
Letters are currently mailed within the United States through USPS as First-Class letter mail. Standard First-Class letter mail does not include tracking, and USPS delivery times may vary.
-
Please allow 14 days from the mailing date. If the letter has not arrived after 14 days, email hello@thelittlelightletter.com. If a letter is lost or damaged during mailing, we will send a replacement at no additional charge.
-
Contact us as soon as possible. A letter that must be replaced because an incorrect or outdated address was provided can be reissued for a $7 charge. Squarespace does not allow an active subscription’s shipping address to be edited, so we will help you cancel and resubscribe using the correct address. A USPS address change does not update your subscription.
-
Use the Manage subscription link in your original order-confirmation email and sign in to your customer account. Open the subscription, choose Payment Method, then select Add New Payment Method. For your security, never send credit-card information by email.
-
Use the Manage subscription link in your original order-confirmation email, sign in, and select Cancel Subscription. Monthly payments already processed are nonrefundable, and you will receive the letters covered by that payment. An annual subscription may be refunded only before the first letter is mailed; after the first mailing, it is nonrefundable. Cancellation prevents the next renewal.
